OCTOBER 2019

October was a month that made us assess our gratitude barometers and understand how blessed we are to have been able to know that so many families were sitting together and enjoying all their special holiday celebrations with smiles and joy because there was food on their tables and more importantly happiness in their hearts and homes.

The Chevera Kadisha reported back that our donation to them was able to provide 692 meals for families celebrating their new year, the day before our major Fast Day, the breaking of the fast, and Sukkot.

We are also really happy to report back that Patricia is fully recovered from her injuries and back at work. Red Bagels has replaced her phone that was stolen from her. She is looking forward to a great month ahead.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with the packing and distributing of the food parcels. We really appreciate all the extra work in addition to the work of preparing for your own holidays.

Looking forward to celebrating our first birthday next month. We cannot believe this milestone is almost upon us.
