Meet the finalists

We are excited to announce that 9 finalists have been selected to develop full proposals for the Red Hook public art project on climate change. Finalists will have 6–8 weeks to prepare proposals to be presented at our next public meeting.

Please contact us with questions or suggestions for upcoming events that finalists can attend to learn more about Red Hook and climate issues, and sign up for our mailing list to be notified about our next public meeting.

Red Hook community members met at the Red Hook library for an open vote and discussion to select finalists

The finalists are (in alphabetical order):

Finalists were chosen at a public meeting held May 17th, at which members of the Red Hook community and members of our advisory committee met to review examples of past work submitted through our open call to artists. All attendees then discussed and voted on which artists they wanted to see full proposals from, and the top 9 artists with the most votes were selected as finalists.
