Thought I knew what was good for me
Turned from advice
Too proud I guess

Mine, an inaudible response

Pen and paper
Electronic keyboard
Knowledge abounds

The struggle with thoughts

They’ve nowhere to go
When trying to explain
Sound and sense

My world, and how I see it

Translated into verse
Irony and paradox
Imprinted on paper

Stuck in my mind

The answers are there
So yes, I feel them
In the poetry I see

It all makes sense.
