• Redbrick is pioneering an initiative to mint user account NFTs, moving beyond traditional Web2 user accounts by utilizing the latest blockchain technologies and trends.
• This is Brc:ID, SmartLayer’s ERC-5169 and ERC-404 compliant user account NFT.
• The main purpose of introducing user account NFTs is to integrate key user assets (badges, points) within the Redbrick platform with the liquidity and tradability of NFTs. By linking assets to NFTs, their value can be traded and exchanged.

🧱How to register on the platform

1. Sign in to the Redbrick platform with the wallet that holds your Brc:ID NFT.

2. If you’re a new member, set a nickname and avatar and proceed to sign up.

3. You can view the Brc:ID NFT in your wallet from the ‘My page > Item > Brc:ID’ menu.

4. Select the Brc:ID NFT you want to link your asset — points and normal badges — to, then click [Embed Asset].

5. Enter the number of points and badges you want to embed into the NFT, then click the [Embed] button.

🙋‍♀️Note

• We will announce when you can actually link your assets to Brc:ID at a later date.
• There are still a number of accounts on the platform that have earned points inappropriately by utilizing bots and abusive tools, and as we have strongly warned many times before, Redbrick will take action against these accounts, including clawing back their points and suspending their accounts.
  We’ll let you know when the service will be up and running again after we take action in accordance with our operational policies.
• Brc:ID will be a living NFT with 2-way transfer, not just transferring assets from Redbrick accounts to NFTs as community members have come to expect, but also transferring assets from NFTs to Redbrick accounts.
