Hector Camilo Zambrano (35) (Norway/Colombia)

Profession: Electronic engineer / student M.Sc.

Volunteer in the Red Cross since 1998, CBS volunteering for the first time at codeathon 3.0 2018.

Why did you decide to contribute to the CBS project?
I have been looking for an opportunity to volunteer. I would like to do something for others. When I heard about CBS I thought it would be a good fit considering my background.

What are the three best things about contributing to the CBS project?
-
CBS has a lot of potential, it is applicable in different contexts.
- It is volunteer team effort. Different people with diverse backgrounds are involved and together we create something that wouldn’t be possible otherwise.
- That it is built for a humanitarian aid-purpose and could potentially help a lot of people.

Why would you recommend others to join the CBS contributor team?
If you are looking for a way to give back to the community, to humanity, you should join. It is not always easy to feel like you can really contribute. But the CBS project is a good opportunity for tech-people to chip in.
