Global Mobile Awards 2019

As nominees for the Global Mobile Award’s Best Mobile Innovation Supporting Emergency or Humanitarian Situations, we were present at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week.

MWC is the largest mobile event in the world, bringing together the latest innovations and leading-edge technology. The Global Mobile Awards, which takes place at the MWC, recognises and celebrates contributions made to the evolving and developing mobile industry.

We were thrilled and humbled to have been nominated alongside four other amazing mobile innovations aimed at supporting humanitarian and emergency situations! Although we didn’t win this time, being on the nominee shortlist was a great achievement - we are so proud to see that our tech volunteers have built a mobile technology which ranks among the world’s best!

Hopefully, we’ll be back next year, demonstrating the Red Cross CBS Platform’s potential to scale-up to prevent and detect outbreaks in hard-to-reach communities worldwide!
