The Business of Bin Items
Bulk candy and toy options are designed for the Impulse Player who has a smaller amount of tickets and is eager to “spend” whatever tickets they’ve earned while at your center. Since bin items are generally lower in ticket value, usually about 250 or less, those players with a smaller amount of tickets to spend (or even those players who have left-over tickets to spend after making a larger purchase) are just the players you need for these items to keep flying out of your bins!
These make up a very large chunk of all prizes sold at Redemption Plus, as well as with all of our customers. You want to offer a variety of options and price points while at the same time not overwhelming your guests with too many choices. This can lead to analysis paralysis and a less efficient checkout experience.
