First name … Carys

Born in … Pembrokeshire, Wales

Role at ReDI … Community Development & Volunteer Management, ReDI Berlin

Digital integration is … an essential right for all

My superpower is …. active listening and making people feel heard

I wish WE could …. provide access to education for EVERYONE

1 surprising fact about me … I have lived in eight different countries over the past twelve years… sometimes only for six months but I still count it ;)

I got my first job … when I was 14 as a waitress in a roadside cafe serving fried breakfasts!

The best advice I ever got is … trust in yourself and your instincts

I stay motivated during the lockdown by … cooking delicious meals for my WG, daily yoga and HIIT workouts, painting, listening to music, reading and Friday night virtual parties with friends!

5 quick tips during corona:

Movie: Frida (Julie Taymor)

Book: Catching the Big Fish: Meditation, Consciousness, and Creativity (David Lynch)

Music: Coco Em Boiler room set from Nairobi

Podcast: People Fixing the World (BBC podcasts)

Activity: Connecting with loved ones
