Redpoint Office Hours with Whatnot’s Ludo Antonov and Redpoint’s Medha Agarwal

Engineering for Growth: Lessons learned from Scaling Pinterest, Lyft, and Whatnot

How to unlock and scale growth is always top of mind among startups. We are commonly asked — How should I define growth at my company? What does a successful growth team look like?

Redpoint Office Hours is excited to welcome one of our own portfolio leaders, Ludo Antonov, Vice President of Engineering at Whatnot, to discuss this and more on Wednesday, February 23rd at 10 AM PT.

Ludo has an extensive background in fast-growing startups including Hulu, Pinterest, and Lyft. He led the Pinterest Growth team as the company was going through hyper-growth up to IPO and more recently served as an engineering executive at Lyft, overseeing the company’s core rideshare products including the rider, driver, marketplace, and growth organizations.

In this discussion Medha Agarwal, a Partner on the Early Team at Redpoint, will join Ludo to discuss:

  • How to structure the Growth function from early to growth-stage
  • How to align Marketing, Product, and Eng around a clear growth strategy
  • The best measures to judge success
  • How to hire and develop a world-class team

Interested in attending? Please register here. This event will be interactive. We will collect questions from participants during registration and try to cover them throughout the discussion. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A at the end of the session.

We look forward to welcoming Ludo and engaging in a thoughtful conversation!
