Reef Finance and Klever engage in a Strategic Partnership, bring Reef Chain mainnet live
Reef Finance and Klever are announcing a strategic partnership around a variety of activities to immediately grant access to over 3 million users to the Reef Chain mainnet, add the first external validator, introduce staking REEF in Klever, and bring new liquidity bridges live!
With the vision of Making DeFi Easy, Reef Finance and Klever have been working together behind the scenes to enable Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain (BSC) liquidity bridges to Reef Chain. These liquidity bridges are live now in Klever’s Android and iOS non-custodial, multi-blockchain wallet apps! This makes it possible to bridge REEF to and from Ethereum and BSC to Reef Chain immediately.
In addition, Klever has begun operating the first external Reef Chain validator, beginning our journey to full decentralization before the end of 2021. The Klever team worked closely with Reef Finance to make this a reality, and we thank them for joining us on this journey, launching the Substrate-based Reef Chain in earnest.

This is all made possible thanks to a successful audit by Halborn, a leading blockchain security firm, completing the final necessary step before launching the network. This matches the ethos of Klever’s true and secure cryptocurrency ownership. Reef Chain launches its full mainnet with over 200 smart contracts deployed on its testnet, with more expected to come thanks to the Reef developer support program offering financial and technical expertise to teams wishing to deploy on Reef Chain.
