We’re throwing a Bring Your Creative Genius (BYCG) NFT contest! It’s our first-ever NFT contest on Sqwid, and we want you to bring the best of your best creative genius. Starting today, you can submit your NFT artwork until Monday, Dec. 12 at 11:59pm UTC (Update: Extended again — due to technical issues over the weekend — Wednesday, December 21st at 11:59pm UTC!). The Rules

A few guidelines to follow! Please read below:

• All NFTs must be original and not a recreation of another project (That’s a big no-no! Let’s respect each other)
• Your NFTs cannot be published on another marketplace; they must be unique to Sqwid!
• You can submit one special NFT, a collection of NFTs, PFPs, or whatever your creative genius comes up with as long as the media type is within the Sqwid requirements
• Your submission must be completed by Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 11:59pm UTC
• Contest is open to all NFT artists: new, intermediate, and experienced
• You must submit your Sqwid.App profile link and tweet to this Google form: https://forms.gle/oB2N29dnC7WwaG3S8
• Only one submission per user is allowed

How Winners will be Picked

The contest ends on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 11:59pm UTC. Here is how the winners will be picked:

• The Sqwid team will go through the submissions and pick 10 NFTs
• A community vote will then be held on Twitter to decide the final three NFT winners

Prizes

Prize amounts are subject to the quality of your NFT submissions, and will be based on the judging criteria point system below.

Criteria for Judging

We’re going to use a point system to choose our NFT winners! One to five points will be awarded based on the criteria below to decide the final winners as well as a community vote. The community vote will not include the point system, it will be based on votes only.

1. Artist expression. Is your NFT original and unique?
2. Quality. Does your NFT have some elements of artistic composition?
3. The “wow” impact. Does your NFT artwork make us go, “wowowow!”?
4. Rarity. How uncommon is your NFT relative to other NFTs in the same collection or vibe?

Point system

Anything below 3 out of 5 will not qualify for a prize.

5 out of 5 = 100% of the final prize
4 out of 5 = 80% of the final prize
3 out of 5 = 60% of the final prize

For example, if you win first place but your NFT was graded a 4 out of 5, you will win 80% of the $1,800. If you win second place and get a 5 out of 5, you will get the full $1,000. If you win third place and get a 3 out of 5, you will win 60% of $750.

After winners are finalized, the Sqwid team will reach out to confirm wallet addresses and send USDT prizes, and talk about next promotional steps. Please expect a week or two of reviews, and the community poll, before final winners are picked. Stay close to follow the updates on our Twitter!
