Navigator for events during 07–13 June 2021

Do you know how good it feels when email hits your inbox telling you, yes, for sure, they are organizing in-person event this fall?

There are more and more of them. Notable mentions go to the TNW Conference, CB Insights Future of Fintech, WOLVES Summit, World Summit AI and SLUSH, — all major events with a huge impact to tech communities. Of course, most of them have to limit in-person attendance and make promises that at least some sessions will be available online. In a way, all of them are preparing for a hybrid format (online content is here to stay!) but primary attention is on creating in-person experience.

I’m watching trend this with a great interest. I’m curious how return from pandemic will impact ticket prices — will they increase because of limited access to in-person tickets, or decrease since there will be not enough people willing to travel for a conference? How will partners and sponsors react? Will startups be interested to get into pitch competitions with a chance of actual handshake with potential investors, or will they opt in for online stand and hunting for investor attention in their inboxes?

But I am certain there will be some people as excited as me to go back to actual event venue and hug real people. Let’s start booking flights, the workations are back!
