We’ve got a free version now!

We understand how important it is to have a free trial of an app before you decide to buy it. This is already too late but finally it is here: References.Design Lite

Now let’s walk it through to see what you can get from the free version.

Same online inspirations as in the full version

We made the feeds page exactly the same as in the full version. You can browse online inspirations, search with any keywords, share to social networks, bookmark or download the ones that you like, etc.

Drag & drop, favorites and folders

We want to make the experience as close as possible to the full version. You can drag & drop, or paste images into the app, favorite the ones you like, and even link to an existing folder as in the full version (read our previous post for more details about live folder)

The limitations

There will certainly be limitations for the Lite version:

1. Color labels are not available in the Lite version.

2. Inspire Me! and clustering are not available in the Lite version.

However, you can still randomize all your images.

randomize your inspirations

3. All folders you linked with the app, will be reset upon a relaunch.

This is the biggest limitation. We think this would be enough for you to test how the live folders work.

We don’t limit how many images you manually drag & drop into the app, though. You can keep using it if that already serves your needs!

And that’s all you need to know about the Lite version. We hope this would be enough for you to try out and see if the full version would be useful to you :-)
