When we’re spending more time indoors than ever (unless of course you’re a key worker or a medical professional), it’s not surprising that many of us are staring at the walls and finding them wanting. We’re reevaluating our home spaces, making way for clutter and reconsidering how we can make our homes more, well, homey.

One of the easiest and most visually exciting ways to personalise your space is with a gallery wall. Thanks to the magic of Command strips, attaching things to your wall is easier than ever (and without the risk of losing your deposit because of Blu Tack or nails). All you have to do is find the best prints to bring together.

With that in mind, we’ve pulled together (some of) our favourite places to buy pieces for your gallery wall — places which support the artists directly, which support charity or which simply stock prints you wouldn’t find anywhere else. Whether it’s photography, illustration, typography or all of the above, we’ve got you covered.

Platform LDN x Black Lives Matter

For a limited time only Platform LDN have set up a site selling art prints donating all profits to selected charities supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.reached out to artists within their local community and asked them to donate one art print to be part of the collective print sale.
100% of the profits will go to Know Your Rights Camp in the U.S and The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust in the U.K.

Platform LDN x Black Lives Matter BLM BY ANNA CLIFFORD, £10.00, available at Platform LDN x Black Lives Matter.

Trouva

Trouva is one of our favourite places to find unique homeware while supporting small and boutique shops. This is more valuable to shop owners than ever right now, making this a great one-stop shop for browsing a meticulously curated selection of prints from shops around the UK. From calming botanicals to bold colours and graphic prints, they’ll help you find a piece to suit every room.

Hoei A3 Choucroute Poster, £31.99, available at Trouva.

Drool Art

Drool Art specialises in backing independent and emerging artists, with up to 90% of profits going to the artists. They have a fun and easy quiz to help you find your art style and curate a selection of prints based on your tastes.

Kenzie Meeker Untitled, £50.00, available at Drool Art.

Art On A Postcard

Through this not-for-profit you can buy original works of art from the world’s leading artists with proceeds going to The Hepatitis C Trust. They may be small but they pack a mighty punch on a gallery wall.

Vanessa Jackson RA Trip, £55.00, available at Art On A Postcard.

Printed Goods

Printed Goods is a collaborative creative project that draws inspiration from mythology, astrology and abstract interpretations of symbolism. The result is work that is contemporary while containing echoes of the past. Lovely stuff.

Raphael Greaves Still Life, £25.00, available at Printed Goods.

British Red Cross

In light of the ongoing crisis, the British Red Cross has collaborated with 11 different artists (including Anthony Burrill) to create works that share a message of hope during these trying times. The Kindness Will Keep Us Together collection includes limited edition prints as well as totes, mugs and postcards, with all proceeds going towards their work to help people who are most vulnerable right now.

Anthony Burrill Print, £15.00, available at British Red Cross.

Evermade

Evermade is another brilliant print shop which has developed a collection to raise money during this time — 100% of proceeds from the Rainbow of Hope collection go towards NHS workers.

Lucy Sherston Lean In Love, £40.00, available at Evermade.

They Made This

The physical doors of They Made This might be shut right now but you can still delve into their amazing range of graphic prints online from a range of photographers, illustrators and graphic designers.

James Daw Big Cats Revenge, £45.00, available at They Made This.

Independent Illustrators!

Here at R29 we work with a range of amazing illustrators, some of whom are currently selling prints with money going towards amazing initiatives like #ArtistSupportPledge and Masks 4 NHS Heroes. These are two of our favourites.

Erin Aniker ‘THANK YOU!’ ART PRINT, £15.00, available at Erin Aniker; Naomi Blundell Meyer The Eggs Are Gone, £25.00, available at Naomi Blundell Meyer.
