AMISH HORSE AND BUGGY
Along the highways south of where I live in the midwestern US, often a horse and buggy can be seen coming or going.
Because the Amish don’t appreciate their pictures being taken, it is always a challenge to get a good photo of anything Amish.
This day I was fortunate!
As I’ve shown you in a previous post, Amish draft horses are huge. They are the horses that help in field work — the plowing, planting, cultivating and harvesting.
On the other hand, the horses that pull the family’s buggy are sleek and appear ready and willing to go anywhere the family needs to go stylishly.
