THE SACRIFICE OF PRAISE
Let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is,
the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His Name.
Hebrews 13:15
Why is praise called a sacrifice?
Think about it….
Another sleepless night
Wars around the world In grasps for power
Another day of chronic pain
Endless days of grief over a lost family member
The difficult times seem to go on and on…
There is no end in sight.
Yet we are told to offer a sacrifice of praise to God….
Maybe the difficulties in life and in our world are exactly why it is called a SACRIFICE of praise.
It is not easy to praise and be thankful to God at times but the Word tells us to do so…and we MUST.
And let the peace of God rule in. Our hearts…and be ye thankful.
Coossians 3:15
As we offer a sacrifice of praise to God, peace steals into our hearts.
