Year in Review 2016

In February 2016, NGP announced a new $350M fund focused on the Internet of Things (IoT), bringing up NGP’s assets under management to more than $1B. The IoT fund is the largest fund committed to IoT globally. Since then, NGP has made nine growth-stage IoT investments in the Digital Health, Connected Car and Connected Enterprise sectors. In 2016 NGP also had six notable exits, including the significant sales of Heptagon and Intermedia as well as the Gridsum IPO.
