An experienced product manager Dan Beseda joins the ReFork team

In recent weeks, the ReFork team has been strengthened with new members in the manufacturing and product areas. We would like to introduce you a new member of our team Dan Beseda.

Hello Dan, could you briefly introduce yourself?
Hi, sure. I was born and raised in Prague, but I spent eight years abroad. I studied in Germany, the Netherlands, and the USA, including the prestigious Wharton School. Then I worked as a consultant at Deloitte. In the end, I decided to return to the Netherlands, where I started as a management trainee at the global chemical company Eastman Chemical. After completing the program, I worked for two years as Market Development Manager developing new products for the pharmaceutical, automotive, and plastic industries.

What position will you hold in the project?
At ReFork, I will take care of product management. In other words, I will take care of the development of existing products and decide how we will expand our product portfolio and what markets we will enter.

What do you think about ReFork?
The ReFork project is close to me because it deals with sustainability issues. We are launching a product market that offers an ecological alternative to conventional plastics and bioplastics. In addition, ReFork solutions are able to leverage the established manufacturing processes of existing industries. So we can scale our solutions quickly and have a significant impact on improving the environment around the world.

Why did you choose to work with ReFork?
As I said, I was excited about the idea of ​​the project. Besides, joining the project in the early stage allows me to influence the direction of the project. Last but not least, it is the ReFork team. We have industry experts who are passionate about sustainability while enjoying work and a good laugh.

Where do you see yourself and the project in a few years?
In a few years, ReFork will be a global player in the field of eco-friendly products. We will be a company that will help to find solutions for environmental problems and will be partners for the world’s leading institutions in the field of sustainability. As for myself, I hope to continue to participate in the development of new products that brings value to customers but also have a positive impact on the environment.

ReFork tým doplňuje zkušený produktový manažer Dan Beseda

Tým ReFork v posledních týdnech posiluje o nové členy ve výrobní a produktové oblasti. Rádi bychom Vám v rozhovoru představili nového člena našeho týmu Dana Besedu.

Zdravím Dane, mohl by ses nám v krátkosti představit?
Ahoj, určitě. Narodil jsem a vyrostl v Praze, ale strávil jsem osm let v zahraničí. Nejdříve jsem studoval v Německu, Holandsku a USA včetně prestižní Wharton School. Potom jsem pracoval jako konzultant ve firmě Deloitte. Nakonec jsem se rozhodl vrátit do Holandska, kde jsem začal jako management trainee v mezinárodní chemické firmě Eastman Chemical. Po skončení programu jsem dva roky pracoval jako Market Development Manager, kde jsem vyvíjel a rozvíjel nové produkty pro farmaceutický, automotive a plastařský průmysl.

Jakou pozici budeš v projektu zastávat?
V ReForku se budu starat o produktový management. Jinými slovy se budu starat o vývoj stávajících produktů a rozhodovat o tom, jak budeme rozšiřovat naše portfolio produktů a do jakých trhů budeme vstupovat.

Co si o projektu ReFork myslíš?
Projekt ReFork je mi blízký, protože se věnuje problematice udržitelnosti. Přicházíme na trh s produktem, který nabízí ekologickou alternativu ke konvenčním plastům a bioplastům. Řešení ReForku navíc dokáže využívat zaběhlé výrobní procesy existujících průmyslů. Můžeme tedy naše řešení rychle škálovat a mít obrovský dopad na zlepšení životního prostředí po celém světě.

Proč ses rozhodl pro spolupráci právě s ReForkem?
Jak už jsem řekl, nadchla mě myšlenka projektu. Kromě toho to byla příležitost se zapojit do projektu ještě v jeho začátcích, kdy mohu ovlivnit, jakým směrem se bude projekt ubírat. V neposlední řadě je to ReFork tým. Máme odborníky z různých odvětví, kteří jsou zapálení do problematiky udržitelnosti a přitom si umí užívat práci a občas se zasmát.

Kde vidíš sebe i projekt za pár let ?
Za pár let bude ReFork globálním hráčem na poli s biologicky rozložitelnými výrobky. Budeme firmou, která bude pomáhat nacházet řešení pro ekologické problémy a budeme partnery pro přední světové instituce v problematice udržitelnosti. A co se týče mě samého, tak doufám, že se nadále budu podílet na vývoji nových produktů, které přinášejí hodnotu zákazníkům, ale také mají pozitivní dopad na životní prostředí.
