I am Here, Right Now
Yes, of course you are. But what this affirmation means is — you are being mindful of the present moment. It is one thing we can be sure of — this moment.
Have you noticed how we rush from task to task on autopilot, living life in a routine way? Sure, routine is good as it provides structure to our lives. But what about missing the joy we encounter as we go about our day?
Repeat this affirmation just to remind yourself to notice the little things and take joy in them. Maybe it is that pretty little flower on someone’s desk. Maybe it is that park you passed. What about the blue sky, the sunshine, the appetizing smell of food . . . you know what I mean. When you start to notice these things, you also become aware of your own feelings. And your blessings.
