Life gets busy, yes? Throw in a holiday or two with parties and family gatherings and it adds to the load of busyness. It makes fostering calm energy a goal rather than something that naturally happens.

What if it didn’t have to be that way?

What if embracing calm became a practice rather than something that was a goal or a momentary experience? Let’s be clear, too, this isn’t about avoiding challenges. Instead, it’s about meeting challenges with a different mindset — a calmer, more relaxed and peaceful existence.

I have been feeling the pressure of busyness lately with a number of projects, birthdays, holidays, and wanting to keep up with my writing. The other day I realized most of this is because I’m putting pressure on myself. So, I stopped, took a deep breath and reminded myself:

I foster calm energy in my mind, body, and soul.

Then, I asked myself a key question: how do I want to do that?

Work helps pay the bills, so it’s not like I can say no, but is there a way that I can manage my work…
