In our Western culture, intellect and logical thought are regarded as the crowning jewels of humanity’s evolution. The do-it-all tool for dominance in all walks of life. Our motto: Figure out a better way to do this or that, and you will win the prize, fame, and fortune! The singular problem with this approach is that it pits everyone against everyone else — company vs company, and within each company, individual vs individual, yes, the rat race. In the end, there are too many losers and so few winners.
