POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS FOR INTEGRATION

#TeachME is the campaign that tents to help refugees who arrived to Sardinia to integrate smoothly and easily. In order to achieve such thing the idea is to, with assistance of local institutions and organizations, connect local pupils with their peers who are forced to stop their education due to ongoing conflicts in their countries.
The pupils (students) from local primary and high schools would use their knowledge and talents (for example language,history,maths…) and convey it to the refugees. At the same time,the pupils would have an opportunity to gain extra knowledge from the areas which may haven’t had encountered before (language, music,religion…). Therefore,the both sides will be in the position of teacher and student.
Eventually, this initiative has multiple use which includes fight against racism and xenophobia from local population from one, and easier and faster integration from another side. Open minds and tolerance are factors which are necessary for this project to succeed and be sustainable for a long time.

Project Team

The steps that need to be taken in order to achieve the success of the project are:

0. Application for a grant to EU or local authorities. (optional)

1. Meetings with local institutions and all the actors that will cooperate for the implementation of the project.
2. Analysis of the possibilities and resources of the project.
3. Training for the local students in order to explain them the necessities of the refugees.
4. First meeting of the pupils and students in which they will introduce themselves and presentation of the project.
5. Implementation of the project.
6. Controlling and monitoring.
7. Evaluation of the improvement.
8. Report.
9. Development of a website in order to share the project idea and to improve the connection between the youngsters.
10. Dissemination of the results of the project through all the media.
