What’s new in Azure for Jan
Its not new in Jan but worth a mention:
New Azure PowerShell module is available in preview
This updated module will be simultaneously available on Azure CloudShell and the PowerShell gallery for you to download and use. In addition to Azure service-wide changes, support for private DNS has been added and the modules for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Functions are also now available in preview.
Azure Migrate now supports assessment of physical servers

The new Azure Service Fabric release is now available.
This release introduces several new features and stability and performance improvements, including:
- Improved resource governance and isolation.
- Customizable safety checks for stateless services.
- Additional safety checks for cluster operations.
- “VeryHigh” MoveCost support for workloads with little tolerance for proactive rebalancing.
- Management of the backup and restore service via the Service Fabric Explorer UI.
- Availability of the ReliableCollectionsMissingTypesTool for determining stateful service upgrade safety.
- Availability of consistent and stable secondary reads.
Today, January 14, 2020, marks the end of support for Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2. There is a transition plan online to help customer move to later supported versions of Windows Server
Windows 7 is also end of life.
