Contributing to Regenerative Spiral’s work
Regenerative Spiral is the place to read about how individuals in Singapore and other cities embark on their growth journeys in ways that help shape a thriving world for all.
We believe that individuals shape the future of our world. We provide a platform to amplify the voices of individuals.
We invite you to join this conversation by contributing articles that share meaningful moments and learnings as you weave regenerative values and practice in your life and work.
We are committed to having a couple of conversations with invited writers on what to write.
Articles can be as short as a 3-min read, and no longer than a 10-min read.
We are looking for perspective sharing and personal reflections by individuals rather than writing as part of an organisation.
As an informed practitioner or observer of regenerative living, your perspective is of interest to people who want to learn more or are willing to consider unfamiliar ideas. These people would generally be living in an urban area at least for part of the time.
The article is for the reader to hear your voice. We offer light editing. We do not accept articles written solely by AI. If you find the use of AI (for example, ChatGPT) helpful, you can use AI to help with spelling, grammar, and brevity of expression before a copy of the article is submitted for publishing.
If you include photos or illustrations in your article, you must own the rights to the photos or illustrations, or the photos or illustrations are available for creative commons use.
If you have an article idea, please email Regenerative Spiral initiator, Cuifen Pui, at hello@foodcitizen.sg. Please include a proposed article name, a few sentences outlining your idea, and share key information about your related experience.
Articles can be submitted in the form of a Medium self-published article, a link, or a Word or Google document. Article contributions are accepted year-round and we aim to publish with minimal edits within a week of acceptance.
Regenerative Spiral was initiated by Cuifen Pui, and Medium membership that makes this publication possible is funded by Food Citizen Pte Ltd. Food Citizen is a purpose-driven venture co-created by Cuifen and two others to bring regenerative living and food sustainability knowledge and skills to schools and communities in Singapore.
Financial support of Regenerative Spiral does not provide editorial preference or access.
If you don’t wish to write but would be open to being featured by one of our writers
If you are an informed researcher, practitioner, or observer of regenerative living, please email Cuifen Pui at hello@foodcitizen.sg. Cuifen will reach out to arrange a Zoom chat about you, hear about your background and passions in regenerative living, and discuss potential article ideas.
If there’s alignment and a mutual agreement for Regenerative Spiral to write about you or your project for a commission fee, Cuifen, or other writers of Regenerative Spiral, will proceed to work on an article to be included in the Medium publication. Through this, we can help each other spread the word about regenerative living and inspire others to take thoughtful action!
