Announcing the Launch of Rehinged
After nine months of operating in stealth mode, we’re excited to officially announce the company launch and share more information about the Rehinged data platform.
As a studio company of Hinge Capital, our focus is on early-stage technology companies and their markets: core growth metrics, micro and macro markets, trends driving technology adoption, evolving markets and new markets that haven’t even been created.
Since the best early-stage companies require more than just capital, the Rehinged platform utilizes people, data and software — in addition to financing provided by Hinge Capital — to provide startups and portfolio companies with a differentiated experience at the early stage.
We’re calling Rehinged a machine intelligence company; our team uses data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence to learn from massive data sets. We use the platform to answer complex questions about trends, markets, distribution channels and business models. The answers to these questions give startup teams quantitative data to support their critical business decisions. This data also enables us to predict how startup companies will perform and how their performance will impact existing and new markets.
Our vision is to compile the most complete set of metrics for technology startups worldwide and to predict how those startups will affect current and future markets. It’s an ambitious vision, especially since most of the information about early-stage investing and company performance is not published.

The Rehinged platform collects data from millions of data sources, billions of data points and proprietary, evolving algorithms. It demonstrates network effects; the predictive power grows as we add more data. Our data sources include:
