We are currently in the midst of a global socioeconomic paradigm shift which is being driven by social innovation and characterised by a move away from traditional top-down approaches to more egalitarian bottom-up approaches.

The old paradigm of inefficient state interventions and traditional profit-maximisation focussed corporate capitalism is slowly being replaced by a new paradigm, led by social entrepreneurs, collectives and civil society, who are increasingly making good on the promises that corporations and governments have failed to deliver upon in the past years.

This new paradigm promises a future with less inequalities, more social justice and one in which multiple stakeholders are represented, a future which will deliver sustainable development.

Viliana and Hrishabh had a chance to talk about this in detail with Michael Berg at Youthtime International. Find out more by watching the video above.
