Why will we pre-distribute reindeer tokens free of charge?
We have decided to pre-distribute some reindeer tokens free of charge to creators (people who create services, including engineers and planners) who satisfy certain conditions. The tokens can be used as a ticket to receive our creator support services. In the future, they will be distributed as rewards for cloud design, and their value will increase in conjunction with the development of the service.
Though they are valuable assets for us, we have decided to distribute them for free because of the two following very important reasons.
Reason 1: We want you to support our creator assistance activities
We’d like to support creative activities by effectively distributing use cases of cloud computing usage, a technology which is now indispensable for service creation. The key to the success of our plan is the power of the community of cloud computing users. We believe that wonderful cloud computing use cases and the ability to reuse them to create new services are nurtured in a community where knowledge and labor are exchanged.
Therefore, we want all of you, who are members of this community, to know about reindeer project, and, if you like it, to support it.
This free token distribution is the best way we have to return our feelings of gratitude.
Reason 2: We want to give an opportunity to those who do not know about blockchain technology to experience it
Blockchain technology is being considered for use in many industries, and, in the not so distant future, it will be used by everyone like the internet.
However, as many problems have occurred with virtual currency trading, which is the most advanced use case of blockchain technology, some people have formed an unfavorable opinion of the blockchain. Therefore, we would like them to touch the blockchain’s power through having our token without having to risk losing their money as the first step. Especially for engineers and planners who build advanced services, coming into contact with this technology still in its early days will prove a valuable asset.
Well, we do not consider this distribution as an “airdrop,” which is common in the virtual currency industry. This is because we do not plan to simply scatter around tokens as just one of the promotion tool, as the name “airdrop” implies.
We will provide tokens carefully as an important means of communication with future users/supporters. This distribution signifies our wish for you to support and participate in our services over the long term.
