IT’S OKAY NOT TO BE A PART OF THE “COOL GROUP”

Are all people who look COOL in HIGH SCHOOL , actually​ like that?

Hey There Re-Inventers!!

All of us have passed through a time in high school , when even we wanted to be famous , when even we wanted everyone to talk to us on Facebook or Snapchat or Instagram or WhatsApp and what not !

We wanted to have a gazillion friends regardless of even knowing them .

Kinda obvious , that for achieving such popularity you had to be the COOL one

But the terms in which we measure this coolness has varied over times

— Earlier the one who participated in events like debating , sports , drama, music was considered to be COOL as at that time performing on stage was a platform to make you famous and a star in the eyes of the teachers!

— Times shifted and so do mindsets , sometime further in the future COOLNESS came to someone by having money , by having connections , by having too many girls around you or by having done something adventurous you could boast about !

— Today , this COOLNESS comes to you if you are Famous not really but at least virtually. Weed or Marijuana is something COOL for you , you talk like as if you are texting someone or rapping a song, you are updated about online trends , you do things even adults would be shy off and loads more to come.

Now the question is who wouldn’t want to be that COOL GUY , everyone in school talks about

And the answer would have always been Yes , whether I asked someone from the 90’s or today !

But the Question is ,

Are you willing enough to be the COOL one?

AS IN — had the question been asked to someone in the 90’s everyone would have loved to be COOL , and even I would have recommended because it required you to PARTICIPATE in events and be on stage in front of the whole school ,

Being COOL required Confidence , Character and a few achievements to boast off as well,

Who would mind that?

And mind you it was never a cakewalk for any one!

However today if I asked someone to be COOL , I would say it is rather easier !

Because what you have to do , is do the same shitty things everyone around you is doing every single day.

You have to do SNEAK OUTS in the NIGHT , You should have had too many Boyfriends or Girlfriends rather than being loyal ,

You should have too many likes or friends on social media and having weed or alcohol should be normal for you.

Although it’s easy but not everyone has the conscience in them to allow them to do so .

So if you are one of them whose conscience says these things are wrong for people your age

SALUTE TO YOU! YOU ARE ACTUALLY ONE IN A MANY ! AND IT’S TOTALLY FINE TO THINK LIKE THAT!

Because you know why?

Because today being cool has become easier , that is why everyone is trying to be one!

Due to which there has actually been a COOLNESS OVERLOAD on this earth and it has actually saturated to the point that it’s okay to be frustrated of people like these.

Rather I would say that you are more sensible and actually practical than them .

As these people are doing such things just to be noticed by someone else and be COOL to someone else ,

You are more practical , because you know it is always you who is going to be with you the whole life .

Your habits , your mindset is what is going to shape your future and you are the only pleasing yourself.

Surprisingly everyone else is actually in a RAT RACE not to score good grades but to be COOL.

Never , ever regret not being a part of such a group , because what they have is totally temporary , one day or the other they will have fewer people appreciating them and again they will try antics to be famous.

So the choice is totally yours , do you want to develop yourself or get into such habits for some momentary popularity.

Rather not being cool should actually be the COOL for you , regardless of you being popular or not.

So guys , be aware of the fact that only your habits will take you forward , people will talk about something else one day or the other and you should know that they will never take you forward.

So obviously , it’s perfectly fine not to be like them because they are being pretentious
