Vancouver Tech Podcast (Oct 18th)

The Vancouver Tech Podcast is a weekly show focusing on the growing tech industry in the city of Vancouver. Get caught up on the events and meetups around town, startups, new businesses, developers, designers, community programs, and news. Each episode includes an interview with an outstanding member of our community. Co-Founder, Laura Fortey was featured as a guest.

Technology Update

In order to sell investment securities, Exempt Market Dealers work with Dealer Reps that complete most of the manual administrative work. It can take over 90mins to process a single customer.

The REITIUM Tech team is working on creating a Dealer Rep Sales App. This App can process multiple clients simultaneously, fully equipped with real-time tracking of all client activity. This helps Dealer Reps curb potential errors, stay up-to-date with live deal transactions while also keeping accuracy high.

The automation of customer on-boarding, investment subscription and payment processes will allow the Dealer Reps to have more availability for sales, customer education and support. We are proud of what we’ve been able to create for our first client which will change the way Dealer Reps transact, thus shifting where they can place their focus.
