Rekd Updates — April 2018
At Rekd we are constantly running tests and making updates to our service based off of the feedback we get from our amazing users. Given that feedback and the ever changing technological landscape, we recently made some rather large changes to how our app looks, feels, and functions. The team has been hard at work and we’re super excited about these changes so I wanted to take a moment to bring to your attention what the team has been burning that midnight oil to get done (’cause who actually reads the “what’s new” section when updates are published to apps)! You can find them summarized in the image below.
As the above image alludes, we’re going to start announcing major updates to our app (and maybe more!) on a monthly basis. We’ll also make special posts any time we release something that the team is extra excited about!
In regards to this month’s updates, the new UI and the addition of being able to watch trailers greatly enhances how users are able to interact with titles. In the upcoming weeks we have updates planned that will continue making it easier (and more fun!!) to share titles and create new content for your friends to enjoy. Some long requested features are finally going to be making their way into the product and the team can’t wait to see what content users start to create and share.
We also thought that the latest controversy around Facebook and its privacy issues was reason enough to add more ways for users to get into the app. Users had been asking for this for a while — understandably, not everyone trusts a young company with data from their Facebook accounts — and the public concern around Facebook bubbled the issue of more login options to the top of our priority list.
