Art on Lark to take place on Saturday, June 9
Annual street art festival to feature more than 50 artists, vendors along Lark St.
ALBANY, N.Y. (June 4, 2018) — The Lark Street Business Improvement District (“Lark Street BID”) is proud to present its annual Art on Lark event on Saturday, June 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
During Art on Lark, attendees can experience all of what Lark Street has to offer including cafés, restaurants, gift shops, and bars, as well as the over 50 arts vendors.
“Art on Lark is Albany’s premiere street art fair. The event is fun, family friendly, and a great way to support Lark Street. We’re proud to host such a successful event year after year,” said Shauna Collins, executive director, Lark Street BID.
Festival attendees, both returning and new can enjoy the art, live music, and food featured from local vendors. This year’s music and entertainment will feature EDM artists NXNES at 12:15 p.m., folk performers Winnebago Vacation at 1 p.m., Bota Boiz at 1:30 p.m., local performer Geoff Gordon at 2:45 p.m. with The North and South Dakotas at 3:45 p.m. from Albany.
Art on Lark is the second largest street festival in Upstate New York and was named the Capital Region’s Best Arts Event by the Times Union readers’ poll. The event is an exciting display of Albany’s arts community.
