Fundraiser for Puerto Rico to take place in Schenectady on Wednesday, Jan. 24
Relentless Awareness partners with Slidin’ Dirty to celebrate Relentless’ sixth anniversary and raise disaster relief money for Puerto Rico
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (Jan. 18, 2018) — Relentless Awareness, an Albany-based public relations, advertising, and events agency, will host a fundraiser benefit for Puerto Rico relief on Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Slidin’ Dirty Schenectady (512 State Street, Schenectady). The event also serves to commemorate the agency’s sixth anniversary.
“As one of the few public relations agencies nationally with a managing principal of Puerto Rican descent, I felt compelled to do something here in New York to help. At a time when many Puerto Ricans are still without electricity, we’re especially proud Slidin’ Dirty agreed to help make this event a reality. We hope this continues to raise awareness of devastating storm effects still felt in Puerto Rico,” said Joe Bonilla, managing partner and senior media director, Relentless Awareness.
Attendees who match or exceed the suggested donation of $25 will receive their first beer, wine, or cider for free. There will be a cash bar, as well as light refreshments for all in attendance.
