Melt N’ Toast, Capital Region’s first major grilled cheese festival, to take place Nov. 18

A celebration of grilled cheese and craft beverages in the Collar City

TROY, N.Y. (Sept. 14, 2017) — Melt N’ Toast, the Capital Region’s first major grilled cheese festival, will take place this fall on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m at the Takk House in Troy.

The festival showcases the Capital Region’s culinary and craft beverage landscape, featuring the creativity of local food vendors paired with regional craft beverage producers. Whether it is stacked with classic or artisan ingredients, the combinations are endless, and everyone has their own way of enjoying a grilled cheese sandwich.

Ticketholders will taste delicious chefs’ choice grilled cheese creations, paired with a featured local craft beverage selection, and vote for your best Melt N’ Toast combo. Also be ready to “melt n’ groove” with live DJ talent.

Vendors and sponsors will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets start at $30 for early bird general admission, $40 after Nov. 1. General admission includes admission to the event, souvenir glass, ten samples of any grilled cheese sandwich, and one craft alcoholic beverage ticket. VIP tickets will be $70 per person and includes unlimited samples and open bar, in addition to general admission amenities.
