Remarkable Liquids Brings Grimm Artisanal Ales to New Jersey
Distribution of Brooklyn-based, internationally-acclaimed brewery to begin this week in the Garden State
GUILDERLAND CENTER, N.Y. (Aug. 12, 2019) — Remarkable Liquids, New York and New Jersey’s premier craft beverage distributor, will begin distribution of Brooklyn-based Grimm Artisanal Ales beginning today.
Grimm has been at the epicenter of beer’s current renaissance since their founding in 2013, achieving international renown as creative innovators of craft beer’s hottest new forms, such as dry-hopped sour ales and “juicy” Northeast-style IPA. Since the opening of their permanent brewery location in East Williamsburg, they have expanded their offerings, increased production, and continue to push the boundaries of American craft beer.
Initial distribution in New Jersey is to include Castling hoppy farmhouse ale, Full Frequency mixed-culture berliner weisse, Lilt barrel-aged sour ale, Midnight Morning imperial stout, Noon Moon imperial milk stout, Splish double IPA, Super Shine dry-hopped gose, and Topos German-style pilsner.
To commemorate the launch of Grimm Artisanal Ales in New Jersey and introduce their beer to the market, Remarkable Liquids will be holding tastings and events as follows:
Wednesday, Aug. 14
4 to 6 p.m. — Amanti Vino, 60 South St, Morristown, N.J.
6:30 p.m. to close — Revolution, 9 South St, Morristown, N.J.
Thursday, Aug. 15
4 to 6 p.m. — Wine Dads, 1330 Willow Ave Hoboken, N.J.
6 p.m. to close — Cork City, 239 Bloomfield St Hoboken , N.J.

“We’ve always wanted to send beer to New Jersey, our closest neighbor — with our Brooklyn brewery up and running, we’re finally able to take this exciting step,” said Joe Grimm, co-founder of Grimm Artisanal Ales. “Just one year ago we opened our production brewery and taproom, and in the past twelve months we’ve increased our barrel library to over 200 Burgundy oak barrels with the ambition of becoming the premiere mid-Atlantic destination for barrel-aged wild beer. We’ve refined our IPA’s and pushed our hop rates into uncharted territory, and branched out into traditional German lager technique. With the help of our friends at Remarkable Liquids, we are able to bring these beers to New Jersey with the utmost quality and care.”
