Saratoga Brewing, 102.7 WEQX to host Saratoga WarHorse fundraiser
Spa-area brewery, radio station raise awareness and funds for local non-profit
SARATOGA SPRINGS , N.Y. (July 14, 2017) — Saratoga Brewing Company, the fourth largest brewery in New York State located in historical Saratoga Springs, and Vermont-based independent radio station 102.7 WEQX are pleased to announce their Brew House party fundraiser to support Saratoga WarHorse on Saturday, July 15.
The Brew House party will kick off at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Saratoga Brewing tap room, located at 131 Excelsior Ave. in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. featuring live music provided through 102.7 WEQX from The Saratoga String Band and Floodwood.
Saratoga WarHorse is a non-profit organization that helps veterans with post-traumatic stress through a program that allows them to work with and care for retired racehorses.
This event is amongst one of many events that Saratoga Brewing has held in their continuous efforts to help raise awareness and funds for the WarHorse program. Last year, the brewery assisted in raising over $25,000 for the program which helps those who are struggling to adjust to life after military service.
Food will be available from The Barrelhouse and The Horseshoe Inn Bar and Grill.
The Albany Distilling Company and Death Wish Coffee will also be at the event serving and selling their locally-made products. Additionally, Saratoga Brewing will be serving their Nitro Cold Brew cans as well.
Event is open to public ages 21 and above. Tickets will be $10 per person with all proceeds to go directly to benefitting Saratoga WarHorse.
