As owner and operator of Westmere Beverage in Guilderland he offered his deep knowledge of beer to those looking to educate themselves further and provided the highest quality of beer to those who were already well informed. In addition to being a resource to the community as a purveyor of unique and exceptional beers, Hosier was also the founder of Steadfast Brewing Company; a brewery focused on providing easy access to thoughtfully crafted gluten-free beers by offering delivery directly to the doors of those intolerant of or unable to consume gluten.

Hosier passed away Feb. 6, leaving behind his loving wife of 8 and a half years, Allison M. Hosier, and son, Julian.

For those unable to attend but wishing to still donate, a page has been set up via Ugift to allow direct contributions to Hosier’s son, Julian’s, college fund (ugift529.com, Ugift code C2A-E1P).
