Relex to attend World Economic Forum, Blockchain Economic Forum this week
Delegates from the Relex team will attend both the World Economic Forum and the Blockchain Economic Forum this week in Davos, Switzerland on the invite of LATOKEN.
Director of Business Intelligence T Michael Lutas and Eurasia Marketing Officer Artem Dorokhov will represent Relex at the WEF (Jan. 22–25) and the BEF (Jan. 24–26).
The Blockchain Economic Forum hosts speakers such as Anthony Scaramucci of Skybridge Capital ($10B AUM), the polarizing Nouriel Roubini, and Jeff Schumacher of BCG Digital Ventures. A full list of speakers is available here.
While the Relex team is not giving a speech at the BEF, it has been approved to distribute materials and will be making network connections. Events will focus on “investments, capital markets and the emergence of the global central bank,” according to a representative from LATOKEN.
The World Economic Forum, to which the BEF is connected, will focus on Globalization 4.0: Shaping a Global Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Attendees include individuals such as Bill Gates, as well as more than 250 political leaders from the G20 and other international organizations. Relex will be attending events at the WEF, as well.
Relex was invited to the events by LATOKEN, one of the exchanges that trades the RLX token. Relex began a strategic relationship with LATOKEN in August 2018.
While members from the Relex team attend the event in Europe, CEO Keith Hilden and team adviser Andrea Romaoli Garcia (Ambassador to the United Nations and international blockchain lawyer) will represent Relex in Northern Vietnam.
They will join a delegation comprising government, media, and private business representatives traveling to Northern Vietnam to conduct a charity and development trip.
Upcoming events for Relex include the Relex-hosted seminar on Digital Economic Transformations in South Asia and Southeast Asia from Feb. 9–10 at the Sedona Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar. The event will be organized with the well-respected Burmese NGO Community Agency for Rural Development (CAD).
In late February, Relex will be speaking at the Hong Kong Blockchain Summit alongside financial firms such as AIA, State Street, & Deutsche Bank.
