There’s good news for the vegetables that share the Good News. The first season of “Veggie Tales in the City” will debut February 24 on Netflix.

Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber and all their veggie friends are no strangers to Netflix.

On November 26, 2014, the first season of the animated sit-com “VeggieTales in the House,” appeared on the streaming service.

The renowned faith and families show has had quite the journey since its first video release in 1993 of “Where is God When I’m S-scared?”

For scores of youngsters, that first video helped them overcome their fears.

Together they sang, “God is bigger than the boogie man. He’s bigger than Godzilla and the monsters on TV.”

Veggie Tales has remained a wholesome find in the scary world of modern cartoons.

Characters in the most recent adventures can still be seen quoting Bible verses and praying to God.

“Veggie Tales in the City,” proves the franchise is alive and well.

It seems plenty of children still like to talk to tomatoes.
