We’ve rolled out quite a few enhancements. I put together a brief video highlighting some of my favorites, but read on to learn more

Custom Data Layers

Load local data layers that make the most sense for your planning process. Council districts, stop-level ridership, and much more. Speak to your Customer Success Manager to learn how to bring this information into your own Remix map.

Timetables: Plan and understand your service, down to the trip

In November, we launched a completely new way of viewing your service in Remix called Timetables. Using the timetable, you can add, remove, and modify individual trips and understand your schedules down to the minute. Editing a transit timetable has never been so fast.

Rapidly edit your timetables in Remix

The timetable (and knowledge of the individual trips) enabled us to do two other really important things:

Adjust the settings for Jane to operate based on an average wait time or use the planned timetable

Systemwide Statistics: View your systemwide demographics, in seconds

You can now open any Remix map and see demographic information at the system level. If you decide to remove or add a line, see how that change affects your system’s demographic profile, within seconds.

Take any of your maps demographic stats and see them systemwide

More keyboard shortcuts

We recently added the ability to use the “N” and “M” keys to quickly toggle between different transit line patterns. This shortcut is similar to using the “J” and “K” keys when toggling through lines on your map. Last fall, we started delivering mousepads with all of the Remix keyboard shortcuts to our customers. If you’re a customer and would like one for yourself, just let your Customer Success Manager know!

More to come in 2018, stay tuned!

Our product team is constantly working on product updates. Some big, some small. Here’s just a small sample of what our early Remix customers have experienced since we began in 2015.

Thank you to our customers for the ongoing feedback to ensure we’re continuing on the right track!
