New: Custom Line Directions and Download Map Image
When we say we take customer feedback seriously, we’re serious. Just last week, we rolled out two feature updates that were initiated from user requests. Here what’s live this week.
Custom Line Directions
To ensure that transit lines can be represented accurately, we’ve now included the ability to type in custom line directions within the map pane. Click on “inbound” or “outbound” and you’ll see that you now have the option to change the text to fit your specific needs. You’ll notice that these new directional labels will also appear when you print or share maps externally!
Simply click on the “inbound” or “outbound” boxes and type in the line direction name of your choice
Download as Image
In the last month, we’ve introduced several new methods to share your maps externally including the new print feature, and public feedback improvements. The latest in this string of updates is downloading your maps as an image. By simply clicking on the “Share” button, you now have the option to “Download as image.”
Clicking on this button will generate a .png file that will download to your computer. You’ll be able to use this image download in other workflows like annotating, plotting, and more.
