Oakland’s Robert del Rosario Shakes Up Service and Standardizes Title VI — Remix Conference 2015

From our first-ever Remix Conference in San Francisco on October 7, 2015.

Robert del Rosario, director of service development at AC Transit, discussed his agency’s Title VI protocol as well as the development of guiding principals for service changes: “Leading up to the development of [our service] recommendations, we put together some guiding principals…because of course, transit decisions are about tradeoffs.” AC Transit’s guiding principals emphasize increasing frequency, adding midday service, increasing spans, and making weekday and weekend networks consistent.
