Update on the forthcoming REMME public sale

Dear REMME followers, thank you for your support and high level of interest in the project! In this announcement you will find all the last-minute details you will need regarding our public sale which starts on February 13 at 20:00 UTC.

1. Whitelist registration updates

To participate during the first and the second days of the REMME public sale, all participants should be registered on the whitelist. We previously decreed, there will be two whitelists (full details of which can be found here):

1. Telegram Community whitelist with pre-registration via bot (pre-registration is over).
2. Public whitelist for those who haven’t pre-registered via bot (cancelled at this moment).

Due to the extremely high demand from our Telegram community (over 17K pre-registrations), we’ve made a decision to officially cancel the registration of members to the second public whitelist. This means that anyone who hasn’t already pre-registered via bot in our Telegram group and thus been added to the Telegram community whitelist will be able to join us only during the third day of our public sale. At this stage, the event will be open to everyone — even non-whitelisted members.

The reason we decided to cancel registration to our public whitelist was on account of the rapid growth of our community from 6,500+ to 20,000+ during two days after the announcing of Telegram whitelist stage. As at this moment we’re oversubscribed, based on submissions from current members, we can’t accept more applications.

In line with this latest update, members of the Telegram Community whitelist need to:

• Complete the registration process on tokensale.remme.io by February 11, 20:00 UTC (extended).
• Enter your ETH wallet address where REM tokens should be sent. This address will be whitelisted in smart contract. You will be able to participate ONLY using this address.
• Save changes.
• Upon commencement of the public sale, buy REM tokens using only ETH.

The need to record your ETH wallet address in advance is linked with our decision to run the REMME token sale during days one and two via Ethereum smart contract. We will be doing so for the following reasons:

• To set up a maximum personal cap. You won’t be able to send more than the previously defined maximum cap for one account;
• To set up gas price limit.

1. Log-in to your account using the email address and password that you created during the whitelisting process.
2. Enter the amount of purchase.
3. Send funds to the address that will be shown in your account starting from Feb 13, 2018, 20:00 UTC.

3. Quick FAQ about these updates:

1. Why have you changed the minimum contribution amount?

This was done due to security reasons to prevent the overload of the network.

2. How can we determine the gas price?

We can set up the gas price only before the start of token sale, because no one knows what the situation will be with the Ethereum network on the day of token sale. We will announce the gas limit before the start. You will see this information in your personal account also.

3. How many tokens will I get per 1 ETH?

Currently 1 REM = $0.04. REM token price will be pegged against ETH on February 12.

4. When I will get my REM tokens?

Tokens will be sent to you immediately after your purchase. You will be able to transfer them in 10 days after the public sale ends.
