On the 25th of September, Hadley Barrett, the CEO of ReMoneta was invited to be the international speaker at the Latvian Sustainable Building Conference as well as a judge for the most sustainable building awards.
The conference was held at Jauna Teika, a new district in Riga, Latvia, that features multifunctional offices and living spaces focused on high quality sustainable design and construction. Riga was the second city in the world to achieve a certified retail centre using Breeam In-use 2015, the world’s leading sustainable construction methodology.
The Latvian Sustainable Building Conference brought together leading Latvian and international developers, product manufacturers, architects, and investment groups, who promote a higher quality and environmentally friendly approach to the development of land and buildings.
The winner in the most sustainable building category, announced at the conference, will be representing Latvia in Green Building Council Awards for 2019.
