I’m really sad to see the current developments. I wanted to do volunteering to help elderly people in the neighborhood but I got a sore throat infection that won’t go for a week now.

Since I can’t go out to help locally, my friend Pavel Chernukhin and I (my LinkedIn) decided to do some volunteering online to support businesses and individuals struggling through remote work change.

This all is free-of-charge and we have time for 3 companies and 5 individuals in April to start off with. But we will see how this goes and let you know if we can invite more participants in the future months.

Each of us has got over 4 years of experience working remotely in both technical and administrative teams. All this time we’ve been helping companies build healthy remote work environments and maximize efficiency, communication, and engagement. We would like to share this experience with teams that were forced to go remote overnight and are facing difficulties doing it.

Here is what we can offer to businesses:
- individual brain-storming sessions to identify your problems
- checklist to help your team be better at online communication
- advice on techniques to maximize efficiency of individual team members
- advice on how to manage remote teams
- ideas on how to maintain informal team communication remotely
- how to track your team’s progress without micromanaging them

Here is what we can offer to individuals:
- individual brain-storming sessions to identify your problems
- how to drive change in the company when you are not a senior
- how to avoid being micromanaged by leads when you’re working remotely
- how not to spend all your working day in calls and Slack and do actual work
- advice on how to maintain a work-life balance working remotely
- tips on how to avoid overworking and fear of underdelivering.

To apply, please fill out this Google form till Apr 12, 2020. We will select and announce the applications we think we can bring the most value to by Apr 15.
