Gamaya strengthens its management team with the appointment of Jerome Caillaud as its Chief Product Officer

Gamaya, a Swiss crop intelligence AgTech startup, further strengthens its management team and accelerates its transformation to a product-centric organization by appointing a senior executive Jérôme Caillaud as its Chief Product Officer.

Jérôme is an accomplished professional and leader with extensive experience in delivering customer-centric software, GIS, and data-driven products from his previous roles at multinational and startup companies. Holder of an M.S. degree in Computer Science from the Ecole d’Ingénieur des Technologies de l’Information et du Management in France, Jérôme spent much of his early career working at Michelin’s connected car business groups where he notably helped develop a best-in-class real-time traffic information service. After that, Jérôme held leadership roles at OnYourMap and Mappy where he was guiding the development of an IoT asset management solution and geolocation platform, respectively. Prior to joining Gamaya, Jérôme was supporting startups in shaping their go-to-market strategies at the French tech accelerator Axeleo, and later he was guiding the Mobility Services Platform roadmap and leading the product management team at Bestmile, a Swiss Smart Mobility startup.

In his capacity as Chief Product Officer at Gamaya, Jérôme will be responsible for developing and executing Gamaya’s product strategy and vision, related to several strategic crop verticals of the company — sugarcane and soybean in Brazil. He will oversee the cross-functional product teams, consisting of product owners, data scientists, software engineers, and agronomy experts. Beyond product management, Jérôme will closely work with our commercial operations team to ensure the best delivery of digital products to our clients.
