Today, we are very excited to announce that Demian Brener and Manuel Aráoz of Zeppelin Solutions will be joining the Render Token advisory board. To provide more clarity into this new partnership, we asked them a few questions about RNDR.
RNDR Team: What drew you to this project?
Demian and Manuel: The RNDR Network is being developed by OTOY, a leading cloud rendering company with a proven track record and led by an impressive founding team. After getting to know the team by interacting with them as clients of Zeppelin Solutions, we discovered they had a great vision and the skills to make it happen.
RNDR Team: How do you see the progression of the network and token being used over time?
Demian and Manuel: RNDR token creates the economic incentives that allow for millions of GPUs in the world to be connected and work on distributed tasks for complex rendering. We see RNDR token providing the infrastructure and standards that will make it possible to create reliable and powerful interactive experiences in AR and VR.
RNDR Team: How does RNDR compare to other ICO projects and other Utility Token projects that you have seen?
Demian and Manuel: We’ve seen an increasing number of interesting projects emerge in the past year, but few have attracted us in the way RNDR did. The OTOY team has an already developed and proven technology, used by the leading media and entertainment organizations around the world. We see RNDR token as their next step into realizing their vision of redefining digital content creation and delivery.
RNDR Team: Can you see RNDR playing a larger role in the blockchain space with other token integrations? (For example, Basic Attention Token and RNDR, etc.)
Demian and Manuel: We believe blockchains are laying the foundation of a new economy built on a set of open protocols and standards. RNDR token has the opportunity to become the de-facto commodity for distributed GPU rendering within a decentralized economy of connected 3D assets. In that sense, business and individuals will tap into RNDR tokens and combine them with other protocol tokens for storage, attention, and liquidity, among others, when and providing applications and services to the market.
