🏆 Render Royale — May 2025 Winners Announced!
Stepping Into Fantasy Worlds, One Render at a Time
The May edition of Render Royale transported us into Fantasy Worlds, with magical realms, dreamlike cities, and surreal landscapes brought to life through 3D rendering. Artists from across the globe used Octane and Blender Cycles on render.x.io to create their own vision of the fantastical.
In all there were 19 entries with the vast majority submitted under the Octane category, and 2 entries under Blender Cycles.
First place = 1000 USDC
Second Place = 500 USDC
Third = 250 USDC
After a wave of stunning entries, our judges, Amrit Pal Singh (Toy Faces), Jess Wiseman (Blender educator), and Matt Milstead (mograph.com) cast their votes.
Octane Render Winners

Human tendency to seek hope and meaning even in the bleakest of circumstances. The empty dystopian space reflects emotional desolation, isolation, or a crumbling world — either external or internal. The girl represents a fragile sense of self or humanity clinging to hope.

Left in stasis, subject “00” must depart from its vessel to explore what lies beyond the cold walls that has kept it dormant.

This is representing the journey of a dice. It is rolling through different sceneries with different skins, leaving a trail (legacy) behind. In the end, the journey doesn’t stop. It has to keep rolling. But the environment is just artifacts from your past now.
