County Theater Facade Competition For New Addition

Calling all Architects, Designers, and Movie Theater lovers. The design challenge you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived. We need your ideas for a new addition to the County Theater that will integrate with the fabulous 1938 Art Deco facade and the fabric of Victorian-era Doylestown.

The purpose of this competition is to generate creative ideas as to how to use the County’s newly acquired “Poor Richards property.” Of course, no final decisions will be made until after feedback of County Theater members, local residents, Borough staff, officials, and review bodies. This is just part of the dialogue as to how to proceed.
