3 Things to Improve Your Bedroom Studio Ergonomics

I watch quite a lot of music related videos on YouTube. Often these are recorded in either commercial or professional home studios. But a lot of them are made by so-called “bedroom producers” like myself, with their “studios” setup in their bedrooms, home offices or other shared areas. And more often than not the “gear” is crammed on a small desk in a painful to look at way. Yet, some simple improvements would help free up a lot of space (or cram even more gear, if that’s your thing).

What are we working with…

Every producer is different. Someone who produces hip-hop beats may have different needs from someone working on orchestral music. For the purpose of this article, we will take sort of an “average” producer who does a little bit of everything and is not specialized in any particular area.
