Ren Ecosystem Update

Welcome to the sixth Ren Ecosystem Update. As you know, the format of the update varies month-to-month covering topics from RenVM network stats, integrations, new Ren Alliance Members, community updates, milestones, new blockchain additions, and more! So without further ado, we have a few areas to cover.
RenVM Reaches One Billion in Total Volume
As of October 17th, RenVM has surpassed one billion USD in total volume. We could not be more thankful for all those who helped us get here so a big thanks to our community, users, and supporters. We look forward to what the future holds! 🎉
Coinbase Listing
For our users in the United States, REN has been listed on Coinbase.
RenVM Fee Increase | Minting 0.2% (20 BPS)
With the completion of our first Ren Improvement Proposal (RIP) via Ren Forum. RenVM has increased its minting fee to 0.2% (20 BPS). Burning fee remains the same, at 0.1% (10 BPS).

Ren in DeFi
Ren x Chainlink | Proof of Reserve 🔐
Ren partners with Chainlink to create a proof of reserve for assets locked within RenVM. The first asset being BTC, check out the blog here.
Ren x BadgerDAO 🦡
Ren joins BadgerDAO to help promote BTC based dApps within DeFi. More information to come but in the meantime, check out the blog here.
Ren x Matcha 🍵
renZEC has been listed on Matcha, check it out here.
Ren x Pickle Finance 🥒
You can farm Curve’s renBTC/WBTC pool via Pickle Finance. As within any yield farming exercise, please proceed with caution but if you’d like to know more check it out here.
Ren x Harvest Finance 🚜
You can now farm renBTC and Curve’s renBTC/WBTC pool via Harvest Finance. As within any yield farming exercise, please proceed with caution but if you’d like to know more check it out here.
Ren x Binance ⚖️
Binance Futures launched a REN/USDT perpetual contract. Users will be able to select between 1–50x leverage. The REN/USDT perpetual contract is a USDT-margined futures contract that uses USDT as collateral. check out more information here.
Ren Ecosystem Advocation 🗳
With governance taking center stage and informing DeFi’s pathway forward, community advocation for RenVM and Ren based assets has never been more important! If you want to help RenVM gain adoption, here are a few pending discussions to get involved in.
